- Mainland, free zone or DIFC
- Mainland licences renew through DED with Ejari and an establishment card; free zone licences renew through the zone authority on its own calendar. Corporate tax registration, ESR and UBO filings apply to both, and the penalties for a late filing do not care which regime you chose.
- The clock that is already running
- Licence renewal, Ejari, corporate tax filing, VAT returns and UBO updates each run on their own clock, and UAE penalties accrue automatically from the day after the deadline. Fixing a lapse costs several times more than filing on time.
