- Mainland, free zone or DIFC
- Mainland licences renew through DED with Ejari and an establishment card; free zone licences renew through the zone authority on its own calendar. Corporate tax registration, ESR and UBO filings apply to both, and the penalties for a late filing do not care which regime you chose.
- The clock that is already running
- Any change to shareholders, activity, manager or address must be reflected at the licensing authority, on the establishment card and in the immigration file before it is effective. A change left unregistered is the usual reason a bank freezes an account or a visa application is rejected.
- Language
- Your counsel works in English and Arabic. Arabic is the language of the UAE courts and most government filings, so anything needing legal translation, notarisation or MOFA attestation is identified and priced before work starts — never sprung on you later.
